Nikkah Services

We can only arrange Nikkah service by appointment with the Imam. Please note the following documents and information is required before the Nikkah can be conducted:

Passport or Driving License – we need your passport or driving license as a photo ID.

  • Proof of Address – we need your current utility bill or bank statement as a proof of address.
  • Date of Nikah
  • Preferred Time – We will do our best to meet preferred times (Imam’s availability), however, there will be occasions when this may not be possible.
  • Birth Certificates – For the Bride and Bridegroom. If names have changed the Original copy of the Deed Poll.
  • Divorcees – Decree Absolute & Talaq Documents in accordance with Islamic Sharia.
  • Widow/Widower – Former spouses death certificate.

Court Marriages: We advise all couples to register their marriage at the Marriage registration office (Civic center, Uxbridge) first before Nikah. For further details please contact info@almadinahmasjid.co.uk

Councillor Surgery

We can help arrange appointments with the local Councillors however please do try and attend their local surgeries. The surgeries are on a first-come first-served basis by prior appointment only.

Please contact the office. Please note the Councillor will not be able to entertain any issues concerning Immigration & Nationality, please consult these issues with the local MP. You can discuss the following matters.

  • Anti-Social & Racial Discrimination
  • Street Crime
  • Domestic Violence
  • Council Tax
  • Housing & Benefits
  • Streets & Car Parks
  • All Local Government related issues

Police Surgery

Local Police attend surgeries. They help talk about Local issues, awareness sessions and any concerns can be discussed with the Officers.

Documents Attestation

Al Madinah Masjid provides the attestation service to our community.

We provide the following services and the fees are listed below. Please allow 48 hours for any application. Please contact us at info@almadinahmasjid.co.uk for further details

  • Passport counter signatures – £10 per application
  • Home office document attestation – £10 per document
  • Driving license/ Security license Application counter
  • Signatures – £10 per application
  • References of any sort including School references – £10
  • Supporting Letters of any type – £10
  • Emergency on the spot applications –  £20 per document

Please note for all the above, ID & proof of address will be required.

All fees go towards the running of the Masjid.
